what type of art do you teach?

Outlet Art Co. is unique in that we can offer a wide variety of art media, techniques, and materials at our parties and events. Outlet Art Co.'s founder and lead instructor Allison Jarrett has experience working with and teaching drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, clay, sewing & embroidery, weaving & fiber arts, graphic design, stop-motion animation, photography, and more. She loves creating custom art activities that can suit your group's interests. Want to see what types of art we've made in the past? Follow @outletartco on Instagram and Facebook, or send us an email and we'll share more information!

are your parties like other wine and painting events?

Outlet Art Co. is NOT like other wine and painting art events you may be familiar with. While these events can be a fun and relaxed way to work with art materials, we believe that they miss out on an opportunity to provide a real creative outlet. Our focus is on the creative process, not on ensuring that everyone's painting looks like the example. While you will be challenged to create your own unique work of art, we structure the projects to give you plenty of inspiration, direction, and encouragement to ensure that you can feel confident and proud of your artwork regardless of your artistic experience or ability.

can you create a workshop for my corporate team?

Yes! We love working with groups to customize art-making experiences to meet your group's interests and goals. From a small private art party to build camaraderie to a large corporate retreat workshop to encourage creativity and team-building, we can work with you to provide an experience that is challenging, collaborative, and fun for your organization. Contact Allison to discuss your ideas and get a free consultation and quote.

what is your deposit and refund policy?

To book a private event or party with Outlet Art Co., we require a non-refundable deposit of at least half the cost of the event, with the remaining balance due the day prior to your event.  If you cancel your event for emergency purposes, or if Outlet Art Co. cancels due to weather or other extenuating circumstances, we may offer you a credit for a future event of the same value. All other cancellations are non-refundable.

To reserve a ticket for a public event with Outlet Art Co., we will send an invoice within 24 hours of your reservation request. Invoices must be paid in full within 24 hours of receipt (or within 24 hours of the event, whichever comes first) or your reservation will be forfeited. In order to be able to provide quality art events for small groups, we are unable to offer refunds for ticketed public events.

Do you accept participants with special needs or learning differences?

Outlet Art Co. seeks to provide art-making opportunities to all students.  Our lead instructor Allison has experience teaching students with a wide variety of special needs, and is happy to individualize instruction to help you or your young artist be successful.  If you or a guest at your event has a particular special need, learning difference, physical disability, health issue, or behavioral concern, please contact us before or during the booking process to discuss how we can best provide accommodations and ensure accessibility.   The more information you can provide up front, the more successful and enjoyable you or your guest's experience at Outlet Art Co. will be.

What is your non-discrimination policy?

Outlet Art Co. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.  Outlet Art Co. strives to create a safe and inclusive space for all, and expects all participants to maintain this environment through respectful interactions with others.
